Meghan

Welcome to my site! My name is Meghan and I had such a great time traveling with People To People and Students On Ice to Antarctica that I thought I'd create this site to share my experiences and pictures. On this trip I made some great friends, learned a lot from some very dedicated scientists and educators and most of all had a great time. Antarctica is the only continent without any permanent citizens and is truly the last frontier. I highly recommend a visit to see this unspoiled land before more of the ice shelves dissappear forever.

Whether you choose to believe in Global Warming or not, it is important that we all make changes now to slow the pace of carbon emissions, to conserve energy, look for alternative ways to power our ever growing demands for energy and do what we can to preserve the polar ice caps. It is our duty and our responsibility as keepers of this planet. Check out my section on Global Warming to see what you can do to make a difference!
